Please note, you cannot slot these onto the docking station to link, it must be done using the following method. Step 1 Turn your system on and select the Controllers tab at the bottom of the home menu. Step 2 Select the Change Grip and Order option. Your Switch is now ready to pair with your Joy-Cons. Step 3 Press and hold the 'Home' button on Red controller, hold it for 4+ seconds and watch the lights, after 4 seconds the lights go much quicker and will enable the controller to easily sync. 1 Light will remain solid when connected and you will see image of joycon on your screen. Do the same on the blue controller using the button in same place as the home button on the first controller. If the lights do not go quick, wait until the lights stop flashing and try again but push the home button a little firmer. Sometimes it will take 2 or 3 attempts to get them to link but this only has to be done once. Please ensure you are close by the console at time of linking and ensure there is no other radio waves that may interfere. Please also note that these are slightly bigger then the Nintendo version, so they do not fit into most wheels or handles.
